Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Alabama is recruiting qualified applicants for Territory Representative positions throughout the state. Available territories and job requirements are listed below:
Position: Territory Representative, Consumer Insurance Division
Responsibilities: The Consumer Insurance Territory Marketing Representative will be responsible for enrolling new members into the individual product offerings of the Consumer Insurance Division, including Medicare Products (i.e. Blue Advantage, BlueRx and CPlus) and non-Medicare Products (i.e. Individual Blue, Blue Link, etc) in accordance with state and federal marketing guidelines. Other duties will include the support of existing members and also the development of referral sources within the designated territory.

- Northeast Alabama (Blount, Cherokee, DeKalb, Etowah and Marshall Counties) - Job opening #5118

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
- Experience in a position interpreting and communicating information orally & written
- Experience in a position presenting information in formal and informal settings
- Experience in a position exercising independent judgment and decision making
- Ability to maintain and obtain an Alabama insurance license if selected
- Proven sales and/or service experience
- Ability to attend after hours events and meetings
- Insurance sales experience is strongly preferred
- Residing within specified territory is strongly preferred
