August 12th at 7:30 am

The Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce will host its eleventh annual Back to School Breakfast on Friday, August 12th at 7:30 am at the First United Methodist Church. The breakfast provides business leaders with an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of area schools and show support for principals, teachers, and leaders as they make preparations for another school year. The Chamber has received so much support from businesses in the past and this year is no exception!
This year we're adding a different twist! Our teachers are buying classroom supplies from their personal finances. Many parents have lost their job and cannot afford school supplies. That's where you come in!
The Jackson Area Chamber of Commerce has partnered with Aaron’s Sales and Lease to "Fill the Pools for Schools." Just drop off school supplies in the pool at the Aaron’s in Jackson (4275 North College Avenue, Hwy 43 north, across from Walmart) or at the Chamber office (500 Commerce Street, across from City Hall).
The school supplies that we collect will be distributed to Joe M. Gillmore Elementary, Jackson Intermediate, Jackson Middle, Jackson High, Jackson Academy and Leroy High School at the breakfast. If you should have any questions don’t hesitate to contact LaShaunda Holly at
251-246-3251 or Marilyn Berry at 251-246-5114.
Respectfully,
LaShaunda Holly
Executive Director
